Action at school involves students and student's households in environmental activities.
It helps the school save money on energy bills, save resources and develops stimulating educational opportunities by involving the entire school community in sustainable activities and thinking.

How can I do it?

Global Action Plan's Action at School
The programme trains a team of students, teachers, governors, non-taching staff, parents and community volunteers to run the programme in the school. Schools who have gonethrough 'Action at School' report financial savings as a result. By involving everyone, Action at School can help you to reduce waste, energy and water consumption.

Global Action Plan recognises that each organisation is different and so your Action at Work programme is tailored to your needs.

Action at school has been run by 5 secondary schools in Devon.
The programme has been supported and assessed by Devon Curriculum services. Coombeshead College has saved £10,000 on their energy bill.
